Dani Johnson - An Inspiration To Us All, But What Is She Not Telling Us?

If you are looking for a mentor in network marketing, which you should be, then Dani Johnson is a great person to follow. She started her business when she was homeless and only had $2.03 to her name. She started working her business on a pay phone. She had every excuse in the world to quit, but she didn't. She grew to owning several network marketing companies and now teaches people how to succeed in their businesses.

Dani Johnson has grown into a professional speaker, motivator, teacher, and positions people for success. She discusses personal growth, mindset, posture, persistence, and duplication. These are all vital to your success and growth. She is great because she is a resource we can all use, no matter what company that we are in. She offers free calls to anyone on Monday nights and even records those calls in case you are unable to make them.

While Dani does provide valuable information that we need to help ensure our success, she doesn't provide true internet marketing training. She does focus on purchasing leads, which is fine, if you are master on the phone like she is. Problem is, not many of us are. This doesn't make for good duplication in our downlines, because many people hate the phone. I do believe that you need to have phone skills to talk to people and I highly recommend Dani's script book. But, it is easier to call a lead that I generated, then to call one that I purchased.

When I call leads that I generate myself, the leads are already familiar with me, since they have either seen me in a video or they have read some of my articles. When I generate my own leads, I am viewed as a leader in the industry, and as we know, it is the leaders that prospects want to enroll with.

Dani and most MLM companies don't teach internet marketing and that's where most people's frustrations lie. Although, I can spark up a conversation on the phone with a prospect, thanks to Dani, I didn't know how to get names and phone numbers of people to talk to without buying them. I stopped buying leads years ago. I knew that people were using the internet to generate leads. I wanted to learn how they did this.

I sought out a mentor to teach me to do this. Now I generate as many leads as I want using the internet. Most of it, absolutely free. When people join your team, wouldn't be nice if they had access to a training vault, so that you wouldn't have to do all of the training. Talk about a time saver and duplication.

The Center Of The Google Vs Facebook War: The Like Button

By now it has become well known that Google is planning a competitor to Facebook. While many believe that it may be too little too late for Google, the reality is that it’s a matter of survival for the company at this point. Google’s automated algorithms have become inefficient in that their systems are somewhat easy to game and despite Marissa Mayer once claiming that search is 90 percent solved, the reality is that it isn’t anywhere close. Every day I perform searches on Google which simply fail. For me, searching has become a rapid process of trial an error. Enter the Like button, the social solution to search, and the replacement of the link as a voting mechanism. The people as a whole are more effective at determining what content is relevant and most of those people are unfortunately not effective at creating links. Case in point: there were 126 million blogs as of 2009 (easy to create sites where creating links is easy) and there are now over 500 million Facebook users activel...
